BLOGSCAN - Pfizer Exclusive Clinical Research Contract Story Based on a Misinterpretation

Last week we ran a "Blogscan" summary about a story that Pfizer Inc would be demanding that sites performing clinical trials for the company not perform trials for other companies. Now, this post on the PharmaLot blog asserts that this story was based on a misinterpretation of a Pfizer executive's remarks. The executive stated "we would never do exclusive deals," and "it's not our policy, now or in the future." So all the blogs that picked this one up, including Health Care Renewal, stand corrected.
